July 25th - NEW CHAMPION!!!

Showdown 2009 saw a NEW SSW CHAMPION.

Having just announced taking time off top focus on the running of SSW after becoming the sole owner on May 8th 2009. Muzlem was attacked by cocky youngster Kevin Brudaker. Brudaker left Muzlem laying with a sickening DDT to the outside, when he jumped him from behind, during a training session. CLICK ON RIGHT TO VIEW >>>

Muzlem however got his revenge after defeating Brudaker on the show. Muzlem had chosen to step back from in ring action due to a torn right rotator cuff which has severly hindered his mobility, and also to focus on his family.

Having not trained for months, he was visably fatigue during his match and also looking a little less sharpe on his feet, however he did put on a solid performance against Brudaker, managing to defeat the big newcomer.

Muzlem was then entered into the main event in the SHOWDOWN match as the number one contender. After Rotanda, Ben N Jeremi and Ron were eliminated it came down to just Muzlem and Kevin Brudaker, with Muzlem coming out victorious.

We expect much more from these two in the future.

Second Generation! UPDATE 25/07/09

Fans were happy to see Muzlem return to action, winning the SSW Title and the celebrating with his family. Will we see more of them in SSW as Muzlem embarks on what may well be his last SSW Title run?
